I read this books to my kids. They all loved it. It certainly helps that we're all anime fans. Element Wielders has always been a series that draws heavily on anime.Pros-
-Compelling characters
- Fast paced story that never stagnates
-The scenes all flowed one from the other in good form.
-perfectly sets up the new threat (Onagas) while delivering a stand alone book that can hold its own by itself.
- A perfect story for kids, young adults, and adults. it delivers to all genres without any inappropriate material for anyone.
Cons-
-Not enough of Selene.
-Minor nitpick, but Larika seemed a bit rushed. Would have loved to see a bit more of her and her backstory. but since she was a minor character, I may be asking for too much.
All in all a great purchase.

BRING FALCON BACK

Puntuation and word choice errors can be found peppered through out the book. Pleasantly, the storyline helped me over look the problems.
This was an okay continuation, though I subtracted 2 stars was because of falcon the the onagas had no roles in the book. And then to find out falcon is dead at the end of the book, I mean come on. If he isn't somehow revived in the next book, or not dead at all somehow, I won't read the next book.
First of all a warning. DONT read the other review posted up with 3 stars. It contains some MAJOR spoilers.
Now to the book.
I had to go to class (Darn those college classes) so it took me 2 days to read the book. It was well worth staying up late.
The story continues from where it was left off in Heir of the Elements. It's been 6 years and we get to see some new characters along the old ones.
I specially enjoyed the relationship between Aya and Selene. It was refreshing to see the growth of Selene from the last series to this book. I also agreed with the treatment she was given and where she ended up.
Like his other book, Mr. Gonzalez book moves at steady pace. The story unfolds with brilliant voices and a gripping plot that sets up a bigger menace in Va'siel.
Though the new character, Aldair was a bit annoying at once, I did find myself intrigued at how he could do what he did.
Completely enjoyed the book. Can't wait to see where it goes from here!!!!
I have to agree if falcon isntcbrought back there is no point and reading the rest BC of everything he lost in the first series just to die I gave it a three on that principal alone

Good story line but lots of editing errors/typos/mistakes.
